The following discloses the information management practices for Flight Insight Inc. (“Flight Insight”) as it relates to users of flightinsight.io and the Flight Insight Portal (the “Portal”). 

INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY LOGGED

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer our website. Your IP address is also used to help verify who you are.

COOKIES

Our site uses long-term and short-term cookies. Long-term cookies are used to store user preferences. For example, a long-term cookie might store the user's preference regarding how data is displayed. Short-term cookies contain more information and are deleted as soon as you log off. Sensitive information is stored long-term only on Flight Insight’s secure servers.

USER INFORMATION

The Portal gives users the ability to provide information, or have information provided on their behalf, including personal or confidential information, about the user, its employees and contractors (“User Information”). Examples of User Information may include contact information (such as name, email, or postal address), unique identifiers (such as username, password or identification number), demographic information (such as postal code), compliance information (such as certificates, registrations, safety manuals or accident reports) and other personal or confidential information. Such User Information is collected within the Portal to verify the user's identity, allow for database linkage, provide reporting capability (including aggregated data or benchmarking reports that do not identify the User Information provided by or on behalf of a particular user), provide reporting capability to mutual Aircraft Owner Clients, allow for record keeping and tracking of data (such as payments, internal training and injury and illness records) for use as account information in our system or as confirmation to Aircraft Owner Clients, and for other similar purposes appropriate to the operation of the Portal, including its review and verification services. User Information is supplied at the user’s discretion and will be used only as specified above.

EXTERNAL LINKS

The site and Portal contains links to other sites. Flight Insight is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites that are not created and maintained by Flight Insight.

SECURITY

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of User Information under our control. The Portal is password protected allowing only users who have been authorized by Flight Insight or authorized by previously authorized users access to this site. Unless specified by the user otherwise, Owner Client User Information is isolated from other Owner Clients and Contractor User Information is isolated from other Contractors. While no site can guaranty 100% online security, the Portal uses industry standard or better measures in place to protect against the unintended disclosure or use of User Information.

DATA QUALITY/ACCESS

This site gives users the option to change and modify User Information previously provided by logging into the Portal and modifying the User Information online.
